VIP Soccer and Kingsborough Community College men's head soccer coach Victor Popovsky, 54 years old, was selected to represent the Maccabiah USA Masters Over-35 soccer team in Israel, to be played from July 12, 2022 to July 26, 2022.
Coach Victor Popovsky previously represented the 2013 Maccabi USA Soccer Masters team 35 and up in Israel, scoring 5 goals, making him the top scorer for the USA, and the second top scorer in the entire tournament.
In 2015, he represented the USA Over-45 masters team in Santiago, Chile. He scored the winning penalty kick, obtaining the bronze medal for his team.
